Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty

Reverse shoulder arthroplasty is indicated for patients with severe rotator cuff deficiency or arthritis. Unlike anatomic replacements, this technique reverses the normal ball-and-socket configuration: a metal ball is placed on the glenoid, and a socket is attached to the humerus.
